Old Friend Returns to Blackburn Camera Club

Old friend of Pixel and former member of Blackburn and District Camera Club returns to the club to give a lecture entitled Cityscapes and Candids.

Steward will be presenting a talk featuring a mixture of urban and candid photography.

Stewards urban photography tries to capture non-traditional images of cities and towns, avoiding the standard 'straight building photograph' wherever possible.

His candid photography, tries to show people in everyday surroundings without their knowledge. This results in a 'true' capture of the person or persons, without being influenced by the knowledge that they are being photographed.

During the talk Steward will explain his reasons and how he captured theses photographs, as well as tips on what and where to look to get such images.

Some of Steward's work is on line at http://www.stewardellettphotography.co.uk

The club meets at 7.30pm on Monday nights (except bank holidays) at Feniscowles Methodist Church, Preston Old Road, Blackburn.
New members always welcome.
